CHIRAL (Chemistry Instrument Review and Assessment Library) is resource that will help teachers and researchers identify and choose research-based assessments in chemistry. This resource continuously scans the chemistry education research literature to compile assessments and the key evidence for validity and reliability of those assessments in one place. We also conduct panel reviews of many of the assessments so that even if you don’t have a background in the psychometrics to robustly analyze validity and reliability evidence, CHIRAL will provide a summary and a glossary of terms to help you make a data-informed decision about which assessments you want to adopt for you research and/or teaching.
